We would love for you to volunteer and help our team bring this amazing event to life!
You may be studying event management or fundraising, or you might know someone who is doing the walk. Maybe you’re an RMHC Sydney supporter, have a connection to our House, or keen to contribute without doing the walk. Whatever your reason, volunteering for Walk Me Home will be a fun, rewarding experience and the event can’t run without your support.
We need over 50 volunteers to help us put together this amazing event. Most volunteer shifts are a maximum of four hours and in return for helping us out, we will provide you with a t-shirt to keep, water, some snacks and a backyard BBQ after the event with the participants. You will also receive the following benefits:
- A letter of appreciation outlining job roles and participation as a volunteer at Walk Me Home
- Firsthand experience of the operational aspects of being onsite at a live event
- Association with one of Australia’s most well-known charity brands
