Covid-19 Event Information

 

OUR COVID SAFE PLAN

Walk Me Home will be happening on Sunday, 26 March 2023 and will see participants walk from Rose Bay to the House in Randwick all in support of seriously ill and injured children and their families.  

We continue to prioritise the safety of our participants, volunteers and local communities. Our COVIDSafe Plan is in place and approved by the relevant authorities. Our measures include:

COVID REGISTRATION GUARANTEE

We provide you with our Walk Me Home COVID Registration Guarantee - if the event is postponed due to COVID, we guarantee the registration fee paid will be valid for the new date. The new date will be advised to participants at the earliest possible time once decided.  

PRE-EVENT

Each event’s COVIDSafe Plan is approved by the relevant authorities.

We will send you a safety briefing via email ahead of the event.

AT THE START

Hand sanitiser will be available when collecting your welcome pack.

Limited people will be provided with the same start wave to restrict the number of people onsite at any one time.

The event check-in will support physical distancing.

You check in and head out for your walk.

DURING THE WALK

Due to our staggered start times our walkers will be naturally spread out the walk can take anywhere from 5hrs to 7hrs to complete the challenge.

AT THE HOUSE

Our team will cheer you across the finish line as you arrive 'Home'. We will provide you with a thank you sausage sizzle and drink and we kindly ask that you head home and put your feet up.
