Support my 25km walk for sick kids - and my beautiful friends daughter Maggie.
Over the past six months, my beautiful friend Louise and her family have faced more than anyone ever should.
Her daughter Maggie was born as a triplet and suffered a brain injury at birth. Since then, they have been living at Ronald McDonald House, away from home, while she receives the specialised care she needs.
At home waiting for her are Maggie’s loving 5-year-old sister and the family dog - missing their mum and baby sister every day.
This journey has been incredibly tough, and the road ahead is still long. But having a place like Ronald McDonald House means Louise can stay close to Maggie during the most frightening and uncertain time of their lives.
On Sunday 29 March, I’ll be walking 25km to support seriously ill and injured children and their families.. just like Maggie’s.
For families staying at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick, being together makes all the difference while their child fights battles no child should have to face.
It costs around $190 to support one family for one night.
By supporting my 25km walk, you’re helping keep families together when they need it most.
Together, we can remind these brave children and their families that they are not alone, and that we are walking beside them every step of the way.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support 💛
