Support my 25km walk for sick kids
On Sunday 29 March, I'm walking 25km for seriously ill and injured children and their families.
My beautiful cousin and her darling girl Georgie have been living at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick for almost a year as Georgie battles childhood cancer. Courtney and family live three hours away from where she had to receive treatment and they would not have been able to do it without Ronald McDonald house.
Courtney and Georgie spent nearly the entire year away from her 2 boys and Georgie’s twin, Lily. They have been between hospital and Ronald McDonald house for over a year of life- the twins 3rd birthday, the boys birthdays, Easter, Christmas, all of it. And the staff and facilities at RMH have given them a home away from home, somewhere safe to be and to feel understood and supported.
On average, it costs $190 to support a sick child and their family for one night.
Please support my 25km walk to help keep families together as they face the most difficult journey of their lives.
